The LG G7 ThinQ has been around for several weeks now and it’s now gotten attention from developers from the Android world at large. The handset has now gained support for TWRP recovery on an unofficial note thanks to XDA senior member J0SH1X.

The update is part of TWRP 3.2.1 beta and like before, nothing has changed about flashing TWRP recovery .img to your LG G7. It’s worth noting that this update only concerns the European version of the LG G7 with an unlocked bootloader and the developer also notes that it won’t persist after a reboot, meaning you’ll have to re-flash the boot.img once done using TWRP recovery.
