However, despite all the marketing gimmicks tried by LG to sell its flagship phone G6, it has not been able to match up to the Galaxy S8 and S8+ overwhelming response.

Finally! It took a while to reach India but it was completely worth the wait. There are also really good discounts like on amazon where they’re offering a discount too and Jio users get free 100gb data till march 2018.Love how they’re giving these nice offers although its not something new 😀

A really good competitor for the Galaxy S8 with less price but still a year old processor will hold it down… u may not even notice the speed difference but people will tend to move towards the upgraded processor, that’s just how the market works!!

Like Prem said, Samsung marketed their processor well and made sure everybody knows it. LG will suffer a hit because of that but none the less, an amazing phone.

At 52k, LG G6 is not at all a bad choice in the smartphone market. You get a 78.6% screen to body ratio, and also tests tout this to be the more durable phone to it’s galaxy counterpart, and cheaper too. so, If you drop your phones much, this might just be the flagship you were looking for.

I know, right! For all the people out there who didn’t really like the S8, this is the best best choice honestly. The Processor is 821 and not 835 but that wont make a hue difference in the everyday world. It looks and feels great with all the metal. Built like a tank and has quite a few tricks up its sleeve. Also, amazing camera. All in all an amazing phone.

I concur, and for those who don’t want to shell out a 100$ more, LG display is no slouch either as compared to the S8.

    3. Guest Avatar

Yeah! And the price can go as low as 40k with the cards and prime membership. Thats a steal

Lg G6 is so good. I so want one. Even the G5 was nice, but didn’t sell sadly.

I have to give it you. Pretty Valid point there. The G5 apart from it’s modularity options was pretty cool for a flagship. It was hitting at all the right spots ast year. I was pretty convinced that the device would fair out well amongst it’s peers. Sadly, the modularity could not become the selling point. Compared to that, Motorola had better luck with Moto Z and Z play.

The LG G6 is a great phone! 🙂
And to all the people who think the processor will set you back,it is no slouch! You can check Antutu benchmarks online. I
Samsung and its monopoly on the 835 was a brilliant business move on their end.

Exactly. It doesn’t make much of a difference in real life.

Too many goodies from LG! Good job LG! Also, I don’t think that the phone is overpriced!

Seriously! The amount of incentives they are giving with the G6 in india is unbelievable. Lots of perks indeed. Especially the play store gifts worth 14100. That’s no joke

To all looking to buy this device or atleast considering it, do it. S8 might have a higher “wow” factor than this phone but this phone is still amazing. The display is good and so is the camera. And for just over 50k which can effectively be brought down to 40, they are offering so many incentives.

    1. Guest Avatar

I did not know that. Gotta check that out.

    2. Guest Avatar

The incentives are really unbelievable.I thought the ones outside India offered a lot but damn.. They’re offering so much that everyone would simply choose it over the S8 .

    3. Guest Avatar

IKR. It is effectively 20000 bucks cheaper. That is serious motivation.
