LG G Flex 2 Rooted thanks to new Root Tool

Thanks to a new root that was launched on one Korean blog some days ago, and shared with us by the Unjustified Dev from XDA, we now have a confirmation that the said Root Trick is working well on the LG G Flex 2, the Korean unit albeit for now. There is no reason to doubt why it won’t work on US LG G Flex 2 sets, but once we’ve confirmation; we’ll let you know.

Meanwhile, those of you who have the best curved phone to date by LG yet, and are missing Titanium backup and other root apps for want of root, can go ahead and root the G Flex 2 right away. Do note that this is not your regular one-click-root tool, like the CF Auto Root which has kind of spoiled us to rooting and forget the days when rooting involved too much of cool geek-ish stuff including playing a lot with command prompt and commands. Some of them are back, like it or not, in the new LG G Flex 2 root, which you cna find at the link right below.

Btw, the new root tool supports many LG devices, so users of these are in luck, too. Though, Verizon being Verizon, its G3 is not prone to the new root tool, and hence you better stay away if you’ve got the Verizon LG G3. Also, LG L90 has been left away too from the tricks of new root.

Devices supported:

  • LG F60 (all variants)
  • LG Tribute (all variants)
  • LG G2 (all variants)
  • LG MS395/D393
  • LG G3 (all variants)
  • LG L90 (all variants)
  • LG Transpyre
  • LG Volt (LS740)
  • LG G Flex 2 Korean units (US sets unconfirmed)

Devices not supported, hence DO NOT try on these:

  • LG G3 (Verizon)
  • LG L90

Let us know if you face any difficulty in rooting, we’ll try our best to help you out.
