LG is set to launch its first 5G enabled smartphone at MWC this year and the company has also announced its event scheduled for 24 February.

LG won’t be along with a 5G phone at MWc though, as Huawei has confirmed the launch of their 5G phone too at the event, one that will be a foldable phone too.

The company has been launching great devices although most LG devices are underrated and are overshadowed by the likes of the Samsung Galaxy devices and OnePlus devices.

LG’s 5G smartphone would not be the LG G8 which we expect to be launched as well at the company’s MWC event, instead, the Korean electronics giant might introduce a new series of devices under which the company’s first 5G smartphone would be launched.

LG vapor chamber

As expected, the 5G smartphone would be coming along with the Snapdragon 855 chipset along with 8GB-10GB RAM (unconfirmed) and would also have a Vapor Chamber system to keep the device cool under intense load.

The device is also expected to come with a 4,000mAh battery which paired along with the SD855 should mean the device’s battery could last for around two days with moderate usage.

LG would also be introducing a lot more tech during the event apart from the LG G8 and the ‘5G smartphone’. The company would also be introducing a new gesture-based navigation system which we’ve already seen on several other Android OEM devices.

Nonetheless, we’re excited to see what LG has to bring to the table at the MWC event.
