Lenovo ZUK Vice President has confirmed that the ZUK Z2 and the ZUK Z2 Pro will be getting the Android 7.0 Nougat update next week. The over the air update should start arriving next week with ZUI 2.5.

ZUI is the software that Lenovo uses on their ZUK series of smartphones. ZUI 2.5 is based on Android 7.0 and includes plenty of improvements, bug fixes and new features. Some of the main new features are; split-screen mode, better notifications, improved battery life and more. Below is the full change-log, if you can read Chinese.

Lenovo has added several bug fixes in this update, which should be available next week for users. The ZUK Z2 Plus got the Android 7.0 firmware unofficially on November 15, thanks to a leak. You can check our Lenovo Nougat device list to know if your device will get the update or if it’s already available.

The Android 7.0 Nougat firmware is supposed to be 1.5GB in size, so make sure you have enough space on your device. We will update you when the software is available for download.
