Lenovo’s ZUK R1 has leaked online and the specifications tell us that the device is aimed at budget oriented markets.
As shown in the above CPU-Z benchmark, the smartphone features Mediatek’s Helio P10 MT6755 processor powering a 1280×720 4.59-inch HD display. The ZUK R1 leaked here comes with 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM. The octa-core Helio P10 is clocked at 1.8GHz and the GPU present on the smartphone is the Mali-T860.
The ZUK R1 also comes in a 32GB variant featuring 3GB of RAM. The back of the phone seems to be made of metal with the top and bottom hint of plastic use. The smartphone’s fingerprint scanner might be present on the home button similar to the ZUK Z2 but that is yet to be confirmed.
The smartphone is shown to running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and the interface seems to be pure stock android. But this could be a prototype running AOSP Android and ZUI might feature later on the ZUK R1. It’s rare to see smartphones of this small form factor nowadays.
