Originally announced at the IFA, Lenovo’s ruggedized 7 inch IdeaTab A2107 is all set to attract the budget crowd with a rumored price point of around $150 for the 8GB version which clearly is almost $50 cheaper than some of the other budget tablets out there.

The A2107 may not have the hardware or the specs found in some of the high end offerings however this tablet is aimed for some budget shoppers who would prefer good functionality with a low price point.

For starters, the specs include a 4 point multi-touch 7 inch display with a pixel resolution of 1024×600, a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor, 1 GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 4 to 16 GB, the device also includes both front and rear facing cameras, WiFi, integrated Bluetooth and enough juice to last up to 8 hours.

The tablet is currently not listed to be in stock and hence the price point may just be a speculation.

Lenovo is also expected to launch a 3G version of IdeaTab A2107, however, an official launch date is yet to be confirmed.
