Motorola that has been acquired by Lenovo seems to be working on the second generation smartwatch that will be a sequel to the Moto 360. Accidentally, Lenovo’s CEO, Yang Yuanqing posted some images that seem to reveal the hardware of the Moto 360 successor. Notably, the images were pulled down by the executive.

The images posted on the Weibo account of Yanuqing are claimed to show the new Moto 360. One of the images show the hardware of the smartwatch on a briefcase and it looks similar to that of the original Moto 360 with slight changes.

Along with the image, there was a comment reading “Moto 360, matching the arrival of the era of freedom, our store in the future to increase the function of the watch shop.” Though not many details about the device are divulged, the comment goes in sync with the changes that are shown in the image.

While the black bar at the bottom of the round watch face is retained even this time, the watch in the image seems to have proper lugs for switching between the watchbands thereby giving more freedom to the users.

The Lenovo CEO posted another image that shows the different strap options of the alleged second generation Moto 360. This hints that there will be enough customization added to the next generation Motorola smartwatch.
