Lenovo A6600 Plus launches in Philippines

The Lenovo A6600 Plus, an affordable smartphone with low-end specs, has been launched in the Philippines. The pricing hasn’t been announced yet, but customers will be able to buy it from authorized retail stores very soon.

The official Lenovo Philippines Twitter account made the announcement. The A6600 Plus was launched in September last year. It features a 5-inch 720p display and a MediaTek MT6735P processor. Lenovo has included 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, an 8MP camera at the back, and a 2MP front camera.

This is a low-end smartphone, so we don’t expect it to be priced very high in Philippines. The phone has a 2300mAh battery and supports dual 4G SIM cards. It came with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on board.

We aren’t sure if the A6600 Plus would get the Nougat update, but it is mostly a NO! The A series Lenovo phones are low-end budget devices and will probably stay on the same software they ship with. You can check out our Lenovo Nougat guide for more information.
