Following the success achieved by the affordable 4G LTE capable smartphone Lenovo A6000, the firm has come up with a mid-ranger called Lenovo A6000 Plus for the India market. This new device is an enhanced version of the existing A6000.
To elaborate on the specifications, the Lenovo A6000 Plus boasts of a 5 inch HD 720p IPS display that has pixel density of 294 pixels per inch. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor that is supplemented with 400 MHz Adreno 306 graphics unit and 2 GB of RAM. The handset bundles 16 GB of native storage space that can be expanded further using a micro SD card.
The Lenovo A6000 Plus runs on Android 4.4 KitKat platform wrapped with the Vibe 2.0 UI. The handset features an 8 MP main snapper at its back with LED flash and a 2 MP front facer for selfies and video conferencing. Like the A6000, the latest entrant supports 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and dual SIM functionality. A 2,300 mAh battery energizes the smartphone from within.
To be more specific, Lenovo A6000 Plus being an updated version than the A6000 comes with 2 GB of RAM and ample 16 GB of storage space than the 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of memory in the previous version. This way, the buyers of the A6000 Plus will get increased space to store the applications and other content and better multitasking abilities.
As of now, there is no word regarding the pricing and availability of the Lenovo A6000 Plus. As the Lenovo A6000 is priced at Rs 6,999 and the Lenovo A7000 at Rs 8,999, we can expect the A6000 Plus to be priced somewhere between the two when it is made available in the country.
