To get Shinra in Legacy Piece, go to the Shinra NPC on Seventh Company Island, meet the cash, rank, title, and Fire Force material requirements, farm the materials through the main NPC’s obtainment quests, then return to claim Shinra.
Shinra is a late-progression Fire Force update chase, so the NPC route is only half the work. The real grind is clearing the requirement screen, then repeating the obtainment loop until the material checklist is covered.
Shinra location and claim route

Start on Seventh Company Island and look for the Shinra NPC, the NPC tied to the Shinra claim. Interact with him first so you can see exactly what is blocking your unlock before you spend time farming.
This is not an early-game pickup. Shinra asks for a high rank gate, a specific title, a large money payment, and several Fire Force material stacks before the claim becomes available.
Shinra requirements checklist
| Requirement | Amount |
|---|---|
| Money | 50 million |
| Rank | Rank SS or higher |
| Title | The Devil Hero |
| Flame Hearts | 45 |
| Adolla Burst Cores | 15 |
| Infernal Ash Units | 100 |
| Infernal Cores | 100 |
| Ember Fragments | 100 |
KEY!Check these gates before you begin the material grind. If even one requirement is missing, the final claim at the Shinra NPC will still be blocked.
Open the Shinra NPC requirement screen before farming so you can focus only on the cash, rank, title, or material gates still missing from your account.

How Shinra material farming works
The main NPC’s obtainment section is where the essential Fire Force materials are grouped. The loop is straightforward: take an obtainment quest, finish it, collect the payout, and keep repeating until your Shinra checklist is done.
Quest completion can give one of the needed items, and it can also give points. Those points can be used to buy materials, so treat the grind as repeated quest farming plus point spending rather than a single guaranteed clear.
Shinra showcase expectations

After Shinra is claimed, the showcase test puts it against the hardest mobs currently available. That makes it useful as a combat preview for late-progression players rather than a low-level trial.
The current showcase does not list move names, damage values, cooldowns, or combo routes, so use it as a feel check instead of a finished build sheet.
Benimaru after Shinra
Benimaru is the adjacent Fire Force update unlock to chase after Shinra. He appears in the same update context around Seventh Company Island, but his route should be handled as its own unlock.
If you are already farming the new Fire Force content, it makes sense to check Benimaru next once Shinra is claimed. Just do not carry Shinra’s exact checklist over to him without checking his own NPC requirements.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the Shinra NPC in Legacy Piece?
The Shinra NPC is on Seventh Company Island. He is the seller and claim NPC you return to after finishing the material route.
What rank do you need for Shinra?
You need Rank SS or higher. Anything below SS leaves the rank gate locked.
What title do you need to unlock Shinra?
You need The Devil Hero. The title check is separate from the money, rank, and material checks.
How do you get Flame Hearts, Adolla Burst Cores, Infernal Ash Units, Infernal Cores, and Ember Fragments?
Use the main NPC’s obtainment section, clear its quests, and put the resulting item drops or points toward whichever Shinra materials are still missing.
Can you buy Shinra materials with points?
Yes. Points earned from the obtainment loop can be spent on the listed Shinra materials, making points useful when quest rewards do not give the item you wanted.
More questions⤵
Is Shinra an early-game unlock?
No. Shinra asks for Rank SS+, The Devil Hero, 50 million, and multiple large material stacks, so it is aimed at later progression.
Is Benimaru unlocked the same way as Shinra?
No. Benimaru is part of the same Fire Force update chase, but he has his own unlock route and requirements.
