The launch of Galaxy S8 by Samsung this year ushered in an era of bezel-less phones prompting other smartphone makers to follow suit. Joining the league is Leagoo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, which has been making splashes recently.
The OEM, via its Twitter handle, announced that it is coming up with new KIICAA series of phones which includes KIICAA S8. Now it’s not only the name which bears resemblance to Galaxy S8 but the design as well. Claiming to sport an aspect ratio of 18:9, Leagoo says that KIICAA S8 will also feature MT6763 chipset. And if that’s true than it will take away the tag of being the first smartphone to be powered by MT6763 SoC.

Other features include 4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage. As can be seen from the image above, the phone looks exactly like Samsung Galaxy S8. The only diversion is in the form of dual rear cameras and the placement of the fingerprint scanner below the cameras.
That’s not all. There will also be a KIICAA S8 Lite and a KIICAA S8 Premium. And going by the history of Leagoo pricing, we believe this Galaxy S8 look alike will be competitively priced.
