Asus has a new update for ZenFone 5Z users that brings the device close to what Google has for you in the new Android Pie update.
In addition to the many UI changes, Android Pie’s other major highlight is the gesture navigation that replaces the traditional button-based system. The new feature can be found under the Display settings where one needs to enable it under the Navigation Bar. This is the same feature you’ll also find in the likes of MIUI, ColorOS, and even OxygenOS, among other skins.

The update, which comes as version 80.30.96.71, and 80.30.96.80, also brings the lift-to-wake function and adjusts dual SIM default to 4G for SIM 1 and 3G for SIM 2. If the OTA notification hasn’t arrived on your ZenFone 5Z, it should do so soon, especially since the update dates back to August 14 (also, August 24 for version 80.30.96.80).
