Intex Mobiles based in India has announced a new smartphone called Intex Aqua Xtreme V that is the sequel to the Auqa Xtreme launched in December 2014. The recent offering carries a pricing of Rs 11,290 and it packs almost similar specifications as its predecessor except for a few differences.
The Aqua Xtreme V flaunts a 5 inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels. This resolution and screen size combination translates to a standard pixel density of 294 pixels per inch and it is strengthened with Dragontrail Glass protection.
Under its hood, the Intex smartphone utilizes a 1.7 GHz true octa core MediaTek MT6592 processor backed by 2 GB of RAM. Unlike its predecessor that packs in 32 GB of native storage space, the Intex Aqua Xtreme V bundles 16 GB of default memory space that can be expanded further using a micro SD card.
To meet the photography requirements of users, the Intex smartphone features a 13 MP main snapper with LED flash and a 5 MP front facing selfie camera as well. The primary camera at its back is given software aspects including Panorama, Live Photo Mode, Continuous Shot, Smile Shot, Face Beauty, Face Detection and Object Tracking.
Fueled by Android 4.4.2 KitKat, the Aqua Xtreme V is packs with connectivity aspects such as 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and dual SIM support. A 2,000 mAh battery energizes the device and it is touted to deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time respectively. The handset is preinstalled with a slew of applications such as Intex Zone, Opera mini, Intex Play, OLX, Intex care and Flipkart.
