The recently launched OnePlus X has just received the Oxygen OS 2.2.0 OTA update, which isn’t even available for the OnePlus 2 yet. The OTA update included the following changes for OnePlus X:

  • Manual mode for Camera App
  • Save to SD card option in Camera App
  • USSD bug fix for India
  • Added dual SIM preferences back in system settings
  • OTA App upgrade
  • Security patches
  • General bug fixes and optimizations

If you’re running Oxygen OS on your OnePlus One, then you’d want to install the 2.2.0 update as well on your OPO. Thanks to pradeepsmehra over at OnePlus forums, this is now possible via his OOS 2.2.0 Port for OnePlus One.

Grab the Oxygen OS 2.2.0 port for OnePlus One from the download link below and simply flash the ROM via TWRP recovery like you’d install any other ROM.
