Asus may have breathed new life with the 2014’s Zenfone 5, but the all new 2015 flagship from the company, Zenfone 2, is an underperformer for the most part. And all that is to blame about it is the bad software on the device.
We can’t fix what’s bad and exactly hogging down the device, but we can tell from experience that removing the pre-installed stuff on your device often improves the device’ performance. And this Debloat script by escape75 should do the job well.
However, the script requires you to have the latest 2.20.40.59 firmware installed on your Zenfone 2, so make sure you have that firmware before flashing the script. Also, you’ll need a custom recovery (preferrably, TWRP) to be able to install the script.
