The Huawei Watch seems to be delayed till September this year at the earliest. As per He Gang, the head of Huawei’s smartphone division, we cannot expect to see this round smartwatch till October.

The reason for the delay is that the Android Wear platform has been facing a lot of problems. To be clear, Huawei has been figuring out a way to create a smartwatch that can work in both the Chinese market and the other parts of the world.

Android Wear is controlled by Google, but many services of Google are not available in China, and this is the issue pertaining to the delay of the Android Wear based Huawei Watch.

This issue is suggested by a report that has been surfaced out of China. It is yet to be made clear if Huawei will be creating different versions of the smartwatch for China and the other parts of the world or if they will launch the same variant of the wearable device work everywhere.

Whatever be the reason, the delay of the Huawei Watch that was unveiled in February till September or October is a long one. In the meantime, Moto 360 successor and the round shaped Samsung smartwatch will make their way into the market.
