TWRP 3.1.0-0 recovery, albeit unofficial, is now available for download for the 4G variant of Huawei Watch 2.
As is always the case with custom recoveries, you must unlock the bootloader on your Huawei Watch 2 to be able to install/flash the TWRP recovery image. For help, refer to our guide on how to unlock bootloader on Android Wear watches via fastboot.
Once you unlock the Watch 2’s bootloader, flashing the TWRP recovery shouldn’t be an issue. All you’ve to do is boot your watch into bootloader mode, connect it to PC via USB cable and issue the fastboot flash recovery recovery.img command.
