Huawei’s mid-range device Honor 8 Pro lands in India after being released in Russia and Europe in March and April respectively. The device will go on sale from July 10 exclusively through Amazon at a price of ₹29,990 ($463).
Sporting a unibody metal look, the Honor 8 Pro sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD 2K display with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 on top. The phone is powered by octa-core Kirin 960 SoC layered with EMUI 5.1 skin. At its heart, the device packs in 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
On the imaging department, we find 12 MP+12MP dual rear cameras with one sensor for color and the other for details. There’s an 8MP camera at the front for clicking selfies. A massive 4,000 mAH battery with 18W fast charging support keeps the juices flowing.
The Honor 8 Pro comes in two colors — Midnight Black and Navy Blue. The smartphone, combining aesthetic and slim design with top of the line internal hardware, is a great device totally worthy of its price. Notably, the Honor 8 Pro is not a new device but re-branded version of the Honor V9 which was released in China.
