Huawei has started to seed the Android Nougat update for the P9 smartphone users in Germany and France. This is the stable Android 7.0 Nougat build EVA-L09C432B360 for Huawei P9 EVA-L09 model.

If you haven’t received the update notification yet, check for it manually via Settings » About phone » System updates to get the update over-the-air. Or grab the full firmware from our Huawei P9 firmware download page and install the stable Nougat release manually to your P9.

As you can see from the screenshot above, the update weighs around 2.3GB and features EMUI 5.0. Other regions, such as China and Philippines, received the Nougat update last month. The update brings several new features to the table. You get an better notification system, improved battery life, split-mode multitasking, and several other useful features and improvements.

Before upgrading your smartphone to Android 7.0, make sure it has more than 50 percent charge and is connected to a strong WiFi network.
