The Huawei P9 is currently received a new software update that squashes several annoying bugs. The update is rolling out to the device over the air and is based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
This seems to be a minor bug fix update, but nevertheless, is an important one. It carries the build number B383 and fixes a couple of bugs. Firstly, it kills the bug that sometimes stopped users from accessing the settings for Mobile network.

The update also fixes a bug with Google Device Policy. This bug occurred for those who used Google Apps for Work and would bring up a notification saying the device was unencrypted. And lastly, a bug related to using ‘OK Google from any screen’ has been taken care of.
If you have received this update on your P9, make sure you backup your device before installing it, just to be safe. Also, it is important that your device has more than 50 percent charge, and is connected to a strong Wi-Fi network.
