Huawei P9 Lite update rolling out with June security patch, build B383

Huawei is rolling out a new update to P9 Lite units. The update arrives as build number B383 and is being rolled out over the air.

The update brings security patch for the month of June. It also tags along system improvements and regular bug fixes. The update weighs 221MB.

Rolling out over the air, the new update may take a while to reach your device. If you are too impatient to wait, you can check for it manually by heading to Settings > About device > System update. Before hitting the download button, ensure that your device is at least 50 percent charged and connected to a WiFi network.

Meanwhile, Huawei is gearing up to launch its flagship phablet product Mate 10. This device is rumored to sport full screen 6-inch display. Underneath Mate 10 will pack in Kirin 970 processor built on 10nm tech and run Android 8.0 Nougat. The fingerprint scanner is reported to be placed in the front beneath the screen. Another noteworthy feature is the rear dual camera set-up on Huawei Mate 10.
