A couple of days back, there were reports saying that the successor to the Huawei Ascend P7, the Huawei P8 would soon be launched sometime in April. Since then, we’ve had some rumors surfacing about the device on the internet. And now, there are reports confirming that the device will be unveiled in London on the 15th of next month. In addition to this, a new leak regarding the phone was seen recently.
Recently, two images of the Huawei P8 were leaked online and well, we can have a few speculations about the phone from them. One image confirms that the handset would be really thin. Reports say that its thickness might probably be 6mm. This measurement is actually thinner than the Ascend P7 which measured 6.5mm. Another photo shows the back of the phone which indicates the absence of a Duo rear camera. However, we can see something which is probably a dual-LED flash.
And as for the other specifications of the device, it is expected to feature a 5.2 inch screen with display resolution of 1080p. While this goes for the normal P8, there are rumors that the company would unveil a lite variant with 720p display as well. Also, the Chinese website CNMO announced that Huawei may announce a P8 Max too featuring a larger screen of 6.8 inches.
The Huawei P8 would be running on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop and ship with 3GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory (expandable upto 64GB via a microSD card). As for the camera, the phone would come with a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter.
