Huawei P8 lite gets March security patch with an OTA update, build B594

The Huawei P8 Lite, model ALE-L21, which was released in May 2015, has received a new security software update. The update is available for download as an OTA.

The new build B594 is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and uses the EMUI 4.0 skin. It installs the latest March Android security patch on the P8 Lite. Apart from the security patch, the update doesn’t bring anything new to the table.

Before downloading or installing the update, make sure your device is sufficiently charged and is connected to a good Wi-Fi network. If the update notification isn’t available for you yet, do check for it manually from the Settings app.
