After its entry into the US, UK followed by the Philippines, Huawei Mate 9 has landed in Australia. The high-end Huawei smartphone is up for pre-order in the sunshine country via the telecom company Optus. The shipping will commence on February 7.
The telecom company is making the Huawei Mate 9 phone available on a value-packed Optus mobile plan starting from $57 per month. The minimum total cost comes at $1,368 over 24 months excluding any discounts.
A gem of a phone, Huawei Mate 9 features the latest hardware and specs. It sports a 5.9-inch 1080p display powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 960 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The phone boasts of a dual rear camera setup with 20MP+12MP LEICA lenses coupled with 8MP front camera. Power comes courtesy a 4000mAh battery. It boots Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
