The Huawei Mate 9 has been released in the Philippines for a price of PHP 31,990. The official Huawei Philippines twitter handle announced the same. The dual camera yielding, 5.9-inch display behemoth was released in China in November last year.
The Mate 9 is a high-end smartphone featuring the latest hardware and specs. It was released in the U.S and U.K earlier this month. Huawei has equipped the smartphone with a 5.9-inch 1080p display and an Octa-core Kirin 960 processor.
Other specs of the Mate 9 include, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a dual camera setup with 20MP+12MP LEICA lenses, an 8MP front camera, and a 4000mAh battery. It comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The smartphone also recently received a software update that improved camera and other performance.
A Mate 9 Porsche Edition has also been announced, but we’re not sure if that would be sold in the Philippines. The Porsche Edition has a 5.5-inch 2K display, 6GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of internal storage. The regular Mate 9 can be purchased from a Huawei Brand Store in the country.
