The global variant of the Huawei Mate 10 Pro is getting a new update that bumps the software version to 8.0.0.131(C605).
While there are no new features to look forward to, the small update brings much-needed fixes to audio issues on the Huawei Mate 10 Pro alongside performance enhancements. The global variant of the Mate 10 Pro has model number BLA-L29, which is the target for this update.
One of the major issues this update takes care of is one where the voice of the person on the other end of a call was occasionally delayed when receiving a call using the Google Assistant.
Besides shipping with a massive 4000mAh battery unit, Huawei still wants you to have an even longer battery life. This update optimizes power consumption for enhanced battery life, improves system performance and stability for a smoother experience and optimizes the wallpaper display for a superior experience.
The update is rolling out to the Huawei Mate 10 Pro over the air, which means it may take a few days before all units across the globe get the OTA notification. Rather than wait, you can try a manual update via the About device settings.
