Huawei has set its eye on each and every segment of the tech world at this year’s MWC event. It made a sparkling splash in the smartphone market with P10 and P10 Plus release while in the smartwatch segment it peeled the wrapper off three fine products- the Huawei Watch 2, Watch 2 Classic and Porsche Design Huawei Smartwatch.

While the first two smartwatches are Android Wear 2.0 based and successor to the 2016 Huawei Watch, it is unclear if the latter also runs Android Wear.

Describing the Huawei Watch 2 as a product for those who yearn for the freedom to explore while staying connected, without having to be glued to a smartphone, Huawei has laid emphasis on fitness activity terming the two Android Wears as ‘Complete Smart Fitness Watch’.

Both the Watch 2 and Watch 2 Classic sport a 1.2-inch 390×390 display, 768MB of RAM, 4GB of storage and 420mAh battery. These are powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor and include 4G connectivity, GPS, NFC and heart rate sensor.

The standard Huawei Watch 2 has a 4G-capable version while the standard version has just Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Again, the former has a sporty look while the Watch 2 Classic is more of a traditional watch.
