It was only yesterday we got to know that Huawei’s Honor 9 could launch on June 20 in China. And now, there’s another rumor which claims that the smartphone will be unveiled on June 27.
Roland Quandt, a pretty famous tipster, tweeted what seems to be the official press invite for an event scheduled on June 27 in Berlin. Although the invite doesn’t specifically mention Honor 9 anywhere, the tag “The Light Catcher” is enough for us to decipher that the company is hinting at Honor 9.
We say this as the Honor 9 is expected to feature a dual camera setup akin to the high-end Huawei smartphones such as the Mate 9 or the P10 and P10 Plus. In fact, a few days ago, a rumor pretty much confirmed that the Honor 9 would feature a 20MP + 12MP dual camera setup at the back.

As far as the specs are concerned, the smartphone could come with a Kirin 960 chipset teamed up with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM. There could be a 5.2-inch Full HD display akin to its predecessor.
We expect the smartphone to ship with Android 7.1.1 Nougat-based EMUI out-of-the-box.
