Last month, alleged renders of the Huawei Honor 9 surfaced online revealing the design aspects of the smartphone. Now, a new leak popped up online on Weibo confirming the camera specs of the Honor 9.
As per the leak, the smartphone will feature a dual camera setup on the back akin to its predecessor, the Honor 8. However, the megapixel count could see a significant raise. The Honor 9 is now rumored to feature a 20MP + 12MP combination on the back which puts it on par with the Huawei Mate 9.
That being said, there’s no word on whether the device’s camera will be co-engineered by Leica similar to the company’s high-end models.

As we have already seen in the previous renders, the device has a pretty good look, almost similar to Xiaomi’s Mi6.
The Huawei Honor 9 is expected to be unveiled sometime in June, possibly towards the end of the month. As of now, there’s no word on other details of the smartphone. We will keep you posted should something concrete surface online.
