Putting all speculations to rest, Huawei has officially launched the much talked about smartphone Honor 8 Lite at an event in China where it was the first product to be unveiled. The Honor 8 Lite is also known as P8 Lite 2017. In fact, it carries two other monikers- Huawei Nova Lite and Huawei P9 2017, as per renowned tipster Roland Quandt who reports that a Huawei device named Nova Lite has been made official in Japan. This means that, Huawei has launched Honor 8 Lite in Japan as well, only by the name of Nova Lite.

We absolutely have no idea behind the logic of confusing consumers by giving different names to the same smartphone in different regions. But what we do know is that, by whatever name we call Honor 8 Lite, the specsheet in all of them remains the same.
