So, we recently heard Huawei announce that the Honor 6 Plus would be landing in the UK sometime in the coming months. And now, it seems like the Chinese company is on its mission to bring the smartphone to the Indian market as well. Yesterday, Huawei announced that it would launch the Honor 6 Plus in India. But, an exact time frame regarding the launch hasn’t been given yet.

As for the specifications of the Honor 6 Plus, it sports a 5.5 inch display with full HD resolution. The handset packs 3GB of RAM and is equipped with 16GB of internal memory in the 3G model while the LTE variant can have either 16 or 32GB of internal storage, both of which can be expandable up to 128GB through a microSD card slot. The device is backed by a 3600mAh battery and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat.  The phone has an 8MP shooter at the front and an 8MP camera with an LED flash at the back.

Also, the company confirmed that it would be releasing small budget 4G phones in the country within the next six months. At the MWC, President of Honor Dragon Yin said that “With the launch of 4G in India, we are sure that we will be able to increase our market share by introducing affordable 4G smart phones in India. Our differential lies in our quality, our ability to innovate and each of our products is a result of extensive research and development. We are expecting that the Honor6 plus to take the market by storm.”
