Huawei GR5 2017, which is also known as Honor 6X globally, will soon be released in four more countries namely Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine and Syria. Dubbed as the SWAG phone, the Huawei GR5 2017 was globally launched at the CES event in the first week of January followed by releases in other countries viz India, Saudi Arabia.

Coming from the official Huawei Mobile Levant Twitter page for Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine & Syria, the news can be vouched for. Sadly, the release date has not been mentioned and neither the price.

The mid-range Huawei GR5 2017 is fast catching the attention of camera lovers with its rear dual camera setup of 12MP and 2MP resolution paired with 8MP selfie snapper. The phone sports a metallic finish body with 5.5-inch 2.5D curved display on top, a Kirin 655 processor and a 3340mAh battery. It comes in two storage options- 3GB/32GB variant and 4GB/64GB variant.

The phone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow but will soon get the official Nougat update in March. Notably, the Android 7.0 Nougat beta for it has already been released.

Meanwhile, Huawei is rolling out Valentine’s day sale with Huawei Honor 6X being put up for $249 only in USA. It will be shipped with free goodies — a selfie stick, a case and a pair of earphones. This offer is already underway and will end on February 14.
