We’ve got word about six variants of a new Huawei device turning up for WiFi certification today, and thanks to earlier leaks with a similar model no, we know that it is the Huawei Enjoy 6S.
The device which had already showed up at a TENAA listing before is the successor to the Enjoy 6. The model numbers listed reveal single SIM variant (DIG-L03), the dual SIM variant (DIG-L23), DIG-L01, which are all Chinese variants as the firmware version contains the C, while here are Hong Kong Variants (DIG-L21HN & DIG-L22HN).
As far as the Huawei Enjoy 6S specifications are concerned, the device packs a 5-inch HD display, 3GB of RAM, an octa-core 1.4GHz processor and 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via microSD. It also features a 13MP main shooter and a 5MP front shooter. All of this runs on a 2920mAh battery pack.
The smartphone features Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box and not Nougat unfortunately. Nevertheless, keeping Huawei’s quick update schedules in mind, we could expect these devices to receive Nougat by Q1 this year.
Another smartphone that made an appearance for the WiFi certification was the ZTE Z836F. We haven’t quite managed to get our hands on the specifications of these devices yet. Granted that, all of these devices should be seeing a release date in the coming weeks or so.
