A couple of HTC One M9 pictures were leaked yesterday and surprisingly the design of the device was very similar to that of HTC One M8, company’s last year’s flagship device. The leaked pictures revealed a square camera on the back, seamless edges and a slightly wider sensor housing on front near the camera.

And today again, folks over at HTC Source have received similar information on the device reconfirming the design of HTC One M9 seen in the leaked pictures along with a few more interesting details.

HTC One M9 is rumored to have a change in the Power and Volume buttons setup. The Volume buttons are said to be separate for Volume Up and Volume Down instead of the single volume bar, and the power button on the device is reported to have shifted from top to the right side of the device, below the split volume buttons.

There may be no depth sensor with the rear camera on HTC One M9. HTC introduced the depth sensor with One M8 last year and the company was pretty loud about its capabilities, so it’ll be a surprising move if HTC indeed removes the depth sensor on M9. Or it could also be that the depth sensor is now somehow housed inside that square camera housing, we’ll have to see.

HTC One M9 specs rumored so far includes a 5-inch full HD display, 3GB RAM, Snapdragon 810 processor and 20MP/5MP camera setup. The device will be coming with HTC Sense 7 and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.
