Well, well, well! We already know that an international variant of the Verizon bound HTC Droid DNA is on the cards, under the moniker of HTC Deluxe/DLX. We also saw a few leaked render shots that surfaced earlier this week, which showed exactly the same design as the HTC Droid DNA minus the Verizon branding, of what is likely to be the Asian variant for China & Taiwan.
And now, we have another leaked press shot by @evleaks, which shows a frontal image of the HTC Deluxe, tagged as a Global Edition. While there are no other details regarding hardware differences or availability that @evleaks has mentioned, we do know from experience that @evleaks has been quite spot on as far as his leaked images go. In fact the final leaked images for the Verizon Droid DNA were also provided by @evleaks, and we now know for sure that the real deal looks exactly as the leak.
In any case, folks who are located outside of the US, or Japan, can now look forward to a 1080p display phone soon enough. It’s likely to cost a pretty penny, so you better start saving up. While the global edition might have a few minor hardware modifications, like knocking off 4G LTE connectivity, the rest is more or less likely to stay the same.
