QUICK ANSWER
To get Jimina in Rock Fruit, go to the NPC on Event Island near the Shadow Sin mobs and craft it with 500M Beli, 125 Orb Red, 100 Orb Black, 75 Orb Dark, 50 Black Iron, 15 Shadow Iron, 10 Shadow Diary, 25 Old Scarf, and 1 Katana.

Jimina is a crafted unlock, not a drop, so there is no luck involved in whether you get it — only in how fast you gather the pieces. You will see it written as Jima or Jamaima in some community clips, but it is the same craft; we use Jimina throughout. Everything below is the shopping list, the farm routes that fill it, and what the weapon actually does once it is yours.

Jimina crafting cost in full

Requirement Amount
Beli 500,000,000
Orb Red 125
Orb Black 100
Orb Dark 75
Black Iron 50
Shadow Iron 15
Shadow Diary 10
Old Scarf 25
Katana 1

Run down that list before you start grinding and you will usually find the orb counts and the 500M Beli are already half-covered from normal play. The single Katana is the easy one to forget, since it is a weapon rather than a material and it gets consumed by the craft.

Where the crafting NPC stands

KEY!The Jimina NPC is on Event Island, positioned near the Shadow Sin mobs. That placement is convenient: the same patch of island you talk to for the craft is where two of the required drops come from, so you can hand in materials without a trip back across the map.

Clear Shadow Sin mobs on Event Island

These drop both Shadow Diary and Old Scarf, so you can knock out two requirements in one spot.

Move to Boss Island for Dark Bacon

The Dark Bacon boss is the only source of Orb Dark, and 75 of them makes this the longest leg of the grind.

The newer Shadow Island mobs cover your 15 Shadow Iron.

Save them for Dark Bacon rather than trash mobs, since that is where the drop count hurts most.

STEP 05 · OF 05

Return to Event Island to craft

With all nine requirements in your inventory, hand everything to the NPC in one go.

The order matters more than it looks. Starting on Event Island means you bank the two cheapest requirements early, and by the time you commit to the Dark Bacon loop you are only chasing one number instead of five.

Drop rates and the Orb Dark bottleneck

Drop Where to farm Rate
Old Scarf Shadow Sin mobs, Event Island 15%
Shadow Diary Shadow Sin mobs, Event Island 10%
Orb Dark Dark Bacon boss, Boss Island 16% per kill
Shadow Iron Shadow Island mobs 10%

On paper Orb Dark has the friendliest rate of the four, and that is exactly what makes it deceptive. A 16% chance is fine when you need ten of something; needing 75 off a boss with a respawn timer is what turns this into a multi-session project. The mob drops, by contrast, come off enemies you can chain-kill, so a 10% rate on Shadow Iron resolves far quicker than the math suggests.

Luck potions are worth holding for the Dark Bacon runs specifically. They cut down how many kills you need to reach 75, and since every Dark Bacon kill costs real time, that is where a potion buys back the most of your evening.

QUICK WIN

Bank your 10 Shadow Diary and 25 Old Scarf from Shadow Sin first — they share one spawn area next to the crafting NPC, so you finish two requirements before touching a boss timer.

Jimina moveset and cooldowns

Move Effect Cooldown
M1 Wide sweeping melee slashes
Z Fast slashes while teleporting in and out at high speed 15s
X AoE blade slash that spins around and damages nearby enemies 10s
C Teleports to the enemy, grabs them, and throws them for damage 10s
V Cracks open the space in front of you, stopping time for about 4 seconds 15s

The payoff is V. Four seconds of frozen enemies is a free damage window, and the natural combo is to open with it, then chain C for the grab-and-throw and X for the spin while nothing can retaliate. Z handles the gap-closing, which means you rarely have to walk into a fight.

Mundane set pieces from the same grind

While you are clearing Shadow Sin for Shadow Diary and Old Scarf, those same mobs also drop pieces of the Mundane equipment set — Foot Mundane, Leg Mundane, and Torso Mundane.

None of it is required for Jimina, so do not go out of your way for it. But since you will be parked on those mobs for a while anyway, keep whatever pieces fall instead of clearing them out of your inventory mid-grind.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is the Jimina NPC in Rock Fruit?

On Event Island, standing near the Shadow Sin mob spawn. You do not need a quest or an unlock to talk to it — the NPC is there from the moment you land on the island, it simply will not craft until you carry every material.

What materials do you need to craft Jimina?

Nine requirements in total: 500M Beli, 125 Orb Red, 100 Orb Black, 75 Orb Dark, 50 Black Iron, 15 Shadow Iron, 10 Shadow Diary, 25 Old Scarf, and 1 Katana. They must all be in your inventory at once — the craft does not accept partial progress.

What is the hardest Jimina material to farm?

Orb Dark, by a wide margin. It is the only requirement gated behind a boss rather than farmable mobs, so your rate of progress is capped by how often Dark Bacon is available to kill rather than by how fast you can fight.

How do you get Orb Dark for Jimina?

Kill the Dark Bacon boss on Boss Island. Each kill has a 16% chance to drop one, so plan on a long stretch of repeat runs and use luck potions on this boss rather than saving them for anything else.

Are Jima and Jamaima the same as Jimina?

Yes — Jima and Jamaima are alternate community spellings for Jimina, the same Event Island craft with the same material list and the same five-move kit.
