Trying to build V1 or craft V2 before you reach the Third Sea simply will not work, because both the merge rock and Doran are Third Sea only.

Each of the three swords needs a full 300 mastery before the rock will merge them, and the merged 3SS V1 then needs its own 300 mastery before Doran will craft V2 — missing either one blocks the next step with no obvious error.
