Location of the Fourth Shai in Crimson Desert
The Fourth Shai, Florian, can be found beneath the Desert’s Edge Maze in the Smoking Lands area of Demeniss. The maze is located northeast of Hernand and serves as both a quest location and a maze challenge area.
Unlike the maze puzzle itself, you do not need to complete the Desert’s Edge Maze challenge to reach Florian. The objective only requires locating the hidden underground chamber beneath the structure.

How to find the Fourth Shai
Step 1
Travel to the Desert’s Edge Maze in the Smoking Lands region of Demeniss.
Step 2
Enter the maze area and look for an opening or hole leading underground. You will need to drop down beneath the maze structure.
Step 3
Equip your lantern before exploring. The underground section is extremely dark and can be difficult to navigate without a light source.
Step 4
Move deeper into the chamber and search for a small patch of greenery growing between rocks. Several rabbits are usually gathered nearby.
Step 5
You will find Florian, the Fourth Shai, standing near the vegetation. Speak with her to complete this portion of the quest and send her back to Pororin Forest.
What happens next
After speaking with Florian, the quest tracker updates and counts the Fourth Shai as rescued. If you have already found the other three Shai children, your next destination is Pororin Forest.
Return to speak with Polan in the village. She confirms that all four children have safely returned home, completing the Children of the Woods questline.
