How to Find Pupperai in Palworld 1.0 Update

Pupperai is one of the easiest new Pals to grab early in the 1.0 update, because you do not need to push into the World Tree or any late-game zone. Start from the original map’s starter region, sweep the coast near Grassy Behemoth Hills, and you can catch one with a basic sphere.

Use the coordinates as a helper, not as the whole method. Pupperai can roam around the starter-region habitat, so make a short loop from the fast travel point toward the coast, then back through the surrounding grass and rocks.

Go to the first area

Start in the original starter region, around Hill of Beginnings and the route toward Grassy Behemoth Hills.

Move toward the Pupperai you spot near the waterline or nearby grass without leaving the starter zone.

Pupperai spawn timing and wrong locations

Pupperai can appear during both day and night, so do not wait for a specific clock cycle before searching. If the beach loop looks empty, make another pass through the nearby grass, rocks, and shoreline rather than abandoning the area too quickly.

Do not search the World Tree for Pupperai. Its wild habitat is tied to the original starting region, and it is also not an Alpha Boss or field boss encounter.

Some map overlays still lag behind the 1.0 update, so use the starter-coast route instead of relying on a fixed spawn-pin total.

Pupperai early-game uses

Pupperai is worth catching early because it gives you a useful mix of combat support and base utility without asking you to leave the first region. Its Best Boy Partner Skill increases your melee weapon damage while Pupperai is in your party, making it a clean pickup if you are still leaning on early melee weapons.

Back at base, Pupperai can help with simple chores through Lumbering Lv. 1, Transporting Lv. 1, and Gathering Lv. 1. It also drops Bone x1, which gives it a little extra value while you are filling out your early Paldeck.
