Huawei has started pushing a new software update to Honor 8 Pro. The update is rolling out as build number B183 and brings a bunch improvements and bug fixes.
Weighing at 659MB, the update brings VoLTE support to Honor 8 Pro in addition to improving the battery life by optimizing power consumption for longer usage.
The touch screen sensitivity has also been optimized with the latest update to avoid accidental operation of the display. This is coupled with improvements surrounding the screen providing a more precise recognition of the screen commands.
Finally, the update also installs Google security patches, although the month has not been specified. This improves the security system of your device.

The update is being seeded over the air in batches. So, if you haven’t received the update yet, you need not fret. It may take some time to appear on your device. Once there, install the update, but only after making sure that your Honor 8 Pro is sufficiently charged and connected to a WiFi network. To manually check for the update, head to Settings > About device > System updates.
