Huawei is pushing a new update to its Honor 8 handset which installs the latest Android security patch on the handset.
Arriving with the build FRD-L09C432B394, the update brings with it various bug fixes and performance improvements alongside the August security patch.
The company is currently pushing the security patch over-the-air which means you should receive an update notification on your device anytime now.

And as always, you can visit Settings > About device > Software updates to check for the update manually in case you haven’t received the notification already.
Either ways, download the update over a stable Wi-Fi network to avoid unnecessary data charges. Also, charge your device — maintain at least 50% charge — before installing the update on your phone.
Huawei has just confirmed that the Honor 8 will be upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo. You may not receive the update until Q1 2018, though.
