In late July, Huawei started testing the GPU Turbo gaming feature on the Honor 7X in China and as of this writing, the global rollout of the feature has commenced.

Thanks to the latest update that installs software version 8.0.0.360, users of the Honor 7X can from now henceforth enjoy a smooth gaming experience, but that’s not all. As per the changelog, the B360 update also adds call recording feature that lets you record all phone calls. The update also preloads the Party Mode APK for syncing music playback across phones for better sound effects.

While Huawei mentions that the Honor 7X will also get a new security patch through this update, it doesn’t mention which one. It’s likely to be for the month of August 2018, though, but do let us know more about it in your comments below.

The update is airborne, meaning it will take several days before all Honor 7X users get the download notification. It has also been confirmed for model BND-AL10, but other variants should join the party sooner than later.

Thanks, Ronak!
