The Headless Horseman is a pumpkin-head collection event with a display inside Shadow Cave. The pumpkins themselves appear out in the stages, so completing the display means heading back onto the course.

1 – Find the Headless Horseman display in Shadow Cave

Find the cave entrance
Head to Lush Forest, the second zone, and look along its left wall for the decorated doorway that the purple path leads toward. Enter it to reach Shadow Cave.

Read the Horseman’s sign
Approach the Headless Horseman display and its progress sign. You need six pumpkin heads, and pumpkins spawn across the stages during the day/night cycle. A reading of 2/6 means you have two heads toward the target.
2 – Find and collect pumpkins across the stages
Search the main course when a pumpkin appears.

Leave the cave and watch for a spawn
Take the exit tunnel back to Lush Forest. Watch for the pumpkin spawn notification, which signals when to search along the main track.

From the starting end, the course passes through Green Plains, Lush Forest, Desert Dunes and Crystal Beach, in that order. Pumpkins can be found in Crystal Beach and Glacier; in Glacier, look for a large, glowing jack-o’-lantern sitting on the icy track.

Collect a spawned pumpkin
Use the pumpkin’s collection interaction to gather it, then continue searching for further spawns toward your target.
3 – Complete the collection and check the activated reward
The cave display tracks your progress.

Return to check your collection
Retrace the track through Desert Dunes and Lush Forest when returning from these collection areas. Re-enter Shadow Cave and use the display’s progress counter to see how much of the collection remains. At 3/6, you have three heads left to collect; at 5/6, you need one more.

Recognize completion
Once you’ve collected all the heads, look for the fully assembled Headless Horseman and the 2X FIRES BOOST ACTIVATED banner. These signal that the collection is complete and the reward is active.
