It looks like Google is rolling out a new revamped ‘My Apps and Games’ section in the Play Store for all users. The redesign was noted a few months ago, but it seems like all users are getting the new look now.
The My Apps and Games section is now cleaner, and provides more details. There are four categories for Updates, Installed, Library, and Beta. The updates section shows what apps have updates available and the last time the app was updated.
The installed section shows all the apps that are your device, and also how long ago it was used. This could help users from clearing some space by deleting apps that you haven’t used in a very long time. The Library section shows all the apps that you have and had installed on the device, while the Beta section shows the Beta apps on your phone.
If you aren’t seeing this new revamped My Apps and Games section on your phone, simply go to Settings and clear data and cache for the Play Store app and Force close it. Restart the app and you should be able to see the new look.
Hadn’t gotten the change, clearing data and cache did the trick, thank you. 🙂
The new UI somehow seems uglier than before but surely a lot more functional. Everything is achievable in lesser touches and is a very smart new UI.
