Google Play Music v8.7 brings the ability to disable lock screen album art

If you love the music playback control that Google Play Music offers but not the fact that the album art takes over the lock screen, the latest update will help. Google Play Music v8.7 now offers you the ability to turn off an option called “Show album art on the lock screen” from the Music settings of the app. Since some album art can contain images not suitable for all audiences, this is a good way to keep things clean on the lock screen. Looks like the Play Store isn’t the only app receiving UI changes.
