What to know
- Google One is developing settings for viewing and managing connected accounts.
- Account linking is already broadly available through generic Google Account surfaces, but these entries bring management into Google One.
- The evidence comes from dormant code in the unreleased Google One v1.329.990315153 build, and we could not surface the page in the app.
Google already provides broader ways to link apps and services to a Google Account. Now, a teardown of Google One v1.329.990315153 shows that the company is preparing a more direct place inside Google One for viewing and managing connected accounts.
We found two new settings entries while examining the build. Together, they point to a dedicated connected-accounts area rather than a single isolated action.
Google One is preparing connected-account settings
The clearest addition is a settings entry labeled “Manage connected accounts settings.” Its wording indicates that Google One is building a settings destination where you can control accounts connected to the service.
A second entry reads “View connected accounts.” This points to a user-facing list or page for reviewing those connections before moving into the available management controls.
The new strings, seen below, point to both parts of that flow:
The Google One settings entries are the new part
The broader ability to link apps or services with a Google Account is already public through generic Google Account surfaces. What is new in this build is the explicit addition of Google One settings for viewing and managing connected accounts.
That distinction matters because the strings place the controls within Google One’s own settings structure. The wording supports a focused account-management page, but the code does not reveal its layout, the connections it will list, or the actions each account will offer.
We could not surface the connected-accounts page in Google One v1.329.990315153. The feature is not available to users yet, and we’ll watch future builds for signs of its rollout.
