Catch fish in Halloween, then sell them at the event’s Sell stall to earn Candy Corn.
Candy Corn is the Halloween event currency in Deep Fishing. Halloween’s activities include Limited Time Fish, and selling your event catches turns them into spending money.
Your earnings can pay for Ghostly Koi at Halloween Merchant. The separate Halloween Admin Abuse event is scheduled for October 31, 2026, starting at 15:00 UTC and ending at 15:45 UTC. This guide covers the earning route, the rods’ Halloween stats and the merchant’s shop listings.
How to get Candy Corn in Deep Fishing
Reach Halloween and catch event fish, then sell your catch and optionally spend your Candy Corn.
Part 1 – Reach Halloween and catch event fish
Open the Teleport Portal
Approach the pier’s Portal and interact with it to open Teleport. The menu displays accessible and locked destinations. Select Halloween when traveling there; if its entry reads You are here, you’re already in the right world.
Catch Halloween fish
Close Teleport and approach the water’s edge to cast your line. Move your mouse to steer the underwater hook, catch fish and reel them in. Candlewick Eel is one catch that appears in the fishing interface.
Open the Rods menu
Click Rods on the bottom toolbar to see your available rods. Look for Gravedigger Rod in your inventory.
Equip Gravedigger Rod if available
Select Gravedigger Rod and equip it if it’s in your inventory. Equipping it increases your stats. The rod menu displays Equipped on the active rod. With it equipped, target fish with the highest Candy Corn value.
Part 2 – Sell your catch and spend Candy Corn
Return toward Halloween Cauldron
Walk back toward the Halloween Cauldron in Haunted Hollow. The event’s merchants are nearby, including the fish seller’s stall.
Hold a Halloween fish
Open your inventory’s Fish tab, alongside Items, Baits, Rods, Skins and Pets. Use Search... if useful, then select an event fish such as Spiderfin Perch to equip it into your hotbar and hold it.
Open the fish seller’s menu
Approach the Sell stall while holding your fish and press E. Option 1. How much is this? is one of the available dialogue choices. The menu also displays 3. Sell All Fish.
Sell the held fish
Choose 2. Sell holding fish to exchange the fish in your hand for Candy Corn. One 4.11 kg Spiderfin Perch sale yielded 57 Candy Corn.
Visit Halloween Merchant
To spend your earnings, head up to the pumpkin patch and find the green Halloween Merchant cart. Press E there to open its shop.
Buy Ghostly Koi
Select Ghostly Koi in the shop and complete the purchase with your earned Candy Corn.
