Galaxy Tab A 2017 specs leak proves it’s a budget tablet

Expanding its tablet series, Samsung is gearing up to launch Galaxy Tab A 2017. The device has been spotted online a couple of times in the recent past clearing required certifications including WiFi Alliance. This time it stops by Chinese certification agency TENAA. And as we know, TENAA is credited with listing detailed specsheet of products it certifies. So, we get to have a look at all Galaxy Tab A 2017 features as well images.

Falling right in the budget category, TENAA shows that this 2017 version of Galaxy Tab A will go on to sport 8-inches display with 800 × 1280 pixels resolution. It will receive fuel from an octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz which could be Snapdragon 427 (not mentioned in TENAA though).

In terms of storage, there will be a 3GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB native storage which can be expanded up to 256GB. The imaging section will be taken care of by an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter.

  1. Gees, only 800 x 1280. The 2013 Nexus 7 had a 1200 x 1920 pixel screen and its other specs are not that impressive either. I would like to see a Samsung Tablet with higher resolution
