Galaxy S8+ with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage available in Hong Kong

As expected, the 6GB variant of Galaxy S8 has been made available in Hong Kong by Samsung. It was last month when the company officially confirmed that it will bring the premium model of the flagship Galaxy S8+ phone to Hong Kong markets as well. It has already been released in Korea and mainland China.

The Galaxy S8+ 6GB has been listed on Samsung’s Hong Kong website. However, the price and exact date of availability have not been specified.

In Hong Kong, the 6GB Galaxy S8+ will be available in four color options — Gray, Midnight Black, Coral Blue and Platinum Gold. Further, unlike the units released in Korea and China, the Galaxy S8+, with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, which will make its way to Hong Kong will be unlocked.

Samsung launched its flagship smartphones Galaxy S8 and S8+ on March 29th. Following their launch, these devices broke all pre-order records in Samsung’s history. Although the phone has augured well for the Korean tech giant, the company is struggling to keep its smartphone sales floating in China, the world’s biggest smartphone market, where it has been left behind by the local brands viz Oppo, Vivo and Huawei.
